After traveling throughout the lower forty-eight states for six years, we decided to put down roots in western North Carolina. We are building our home in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Our contractor started construction in May, 2007. We arrived in North Carolina, early June and began to chronicle the building progress, which you may review through this web site.
